REAL ESTATES OFFICER – LUSAKA
JOB PURPOSE: To provide effective and efficient management of property, maintenance, repairs and Tenant Lease Agreements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rent collection;
- Leasing and marketing;
- Tenant management;
- Annual budget preparation;
- Maintenance and repairs: Supervising and assigning duties to maintenance staff and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ);
- Preparation of property performance reports, lease agreements, manual tax invoices, offer letters, payments vouchers, memos, rent demand notes, rent account statements, rental reminders and statements of arrears;
- Filing of documents and posing receipts on the property management system
- Raise cheque requisitions for all property outgoings such as electricity, property rates, lift maintenance, garbage collection and sewerage charges;
- Raise purchase requisitions for engagement of contractors to undertake major maintenance related works or any other required services;
- Undertake weekly inspections to ensure that the surroundings are swept and kept clean at all times;
- Any other duties that management may assign.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Science in Real Estate or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years’ work experience
- Computer literate, proficient With MS Word, Excel
