Title: Risk Manager

OVERALL PURPOSE

To ensure that internal controls are embedded in systems and processes in order to support achievement of process/system objectives.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Business Studies, Computer Science, Engineering or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ZICA

Professional Registration:

• Membership to the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) and/or Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and/or Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and/or Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) and/or Computer Society of Zambia

Minimum Experience :

• At least 5 years relevant work experience of which 3 years should be in a managerial role in a large telecommunication organization, financial services sector or related industries.

Key Skills:

• Overall understanding of risk management processes which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the business when risks occur and being able to performing risk assessments. Analyzing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the business.
