In line with our corporate priorities aimed at ensuring optimization of revenue collection and increased tax compliance on one hand and the need to effectively manage the numerous challenges and opportunities in the fast changing business environment on the other, we are seeking highly motivated, result-oriented and well-qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following vacancy under Modernisation and Corporate Strategy Division in the ICT Department.

Reporting directly to the Senior ICT Officer – Communications, the job holder is expected to effectively support the ZRA business through the provision of timely, cost effective, efficient and professional ICT communications services through consultation, agreements and research, with customers and service providers by developing and implementing ICT strategies, standards and proced ures for the purpose of ach ieving corporate goals.
MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensures data communications equipment are functioning properly.
- Repairs data communications equipment.
- Repairs all data communications Links
- Operates iVantage Network Management System on the VSAT system.
- Ensures effective utilization of data communications equipment accessories, service manuals, essential tools and spares.
- Follows-up faults occurring on the data network and working with Service Providers within SLAs.
- Conducts routine maintenance on the data communications equipment.
- Undertakes installations and configuration of data communications equipment.
- Carries out research on latest ICT data communications trends in the world and provides advice and recommendations to ICT management on ICT communication matters.
