Nurse Counsellor

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Screen and enroll participants for eligibility for research studies
• Provide HIV Pre/Post Test Counseling and risk reduction counseling
• Provide family planning counseling
• Perform clinical and safety evaluations of participants in observational and clinical research
• Assist doctor in consultations
• Prescribe and administer treatment to study participants
• Record study specific data on data collection tools as per protocol
• Address clinical queries
• Collect samples per study protocol
• Compliance with study procedures and GCP/ICH guidelines

Qualifications required for the position:

• Psychosocial counseling
• Registered with General Nursing Council (GNC)
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Bemba.
• Previous research experience preferred
