I. POSITION INFORMATION
POSITION TITLE: JUNIOR HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
JOB GRADE: TBA
REPORTS TO (TITLE): SUPERVISOR HUMAN RESOURCES
LOCATION: LUSAKA HQ
DIVISION/SECTION: HUMAN RESOURCES
DIRECT REPORTS: TBA
II. JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor Human Resources, the Junior Human Resources Officer will provide general HR support to ensure the implementation of a sound human resources support system for Zambia Airways.
III. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with day to day efficient operations of the HR functions;
- Assist in the recruitment process by participating in the reviewing of CVs, calling candidates, scheduling interviews and collecting reference checks;
- Assist in dealing with employee requests regarding HR issues, rules and regulations;
- Assist in handling complaints and grievance procedure;
- Provide accurate and timely data, reports, analytics and recommendations for decision making;
- Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
- Takes disciplinary measures as necessary in consultation with Supervisor Human Resources;
- Perform all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of Diploma Human Resources, Business Administration or any relevant field of studies
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in Human Resources
- Member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
