Description
We are looking for a Store Development Coordinator who will organize a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. Your duties will include ensuring that all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
You should be well-versed in project management methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. An analytical mind and great organizational skills are also required.
Responsibilities include:
- Work together with engineers, contractors, etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Define needed resources, such as manpower, equipment and materials, from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Set terms with external vendors to reach commercially sound agreements
- Get permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Develop plans for all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Prepare equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
- Lead, supervise and support contractors, allocating responsibilities
- Monitor the work of laborers, mechanics and other staff and guide them if needed
- Analyze progress and submit detailed reports
- Enforce the compliance with all health and safety standards
Requirements are:
- 2+ years’ experience of working in a similar position
- Significant experience with construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Excellent knowledge of quality and health and safety standards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good practical experience with MS Office and construction or project management software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good team player and leadership skills
- BSc or BA in engineering, building science or other relevant area; professional certification such as PMP will be a bonus
