Description
Yalelo is seeking a highly systematic, detail-oriented and sharp Data Entry Clerk to enter and/or update data in our database from paper documents. The Data Entry Clerk will report directly to the Employee Relations Manager.
The Right-Fit candidate will:
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
- Type in data provided from various sources into a structured format
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
Our Data Entry Clerk should have:
- Proven experience as data entry clerk
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Great attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred)
