A leading waste management service provider in Lusaka seeks to recruit for the following positions to be based in Lusaka..

1. ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
A youthful but mature energetic individual is sought to join a small finance team reporting to the Accountant.

For this role we are looking for somebody with the following attributes and experience:

• Must have a degree or Diploma in Accounting with part ZICA;
• Have at least 3 years working experience in a similar role
• Must be sober, honest and with integrity;
• Experience of working in a small company environment using accounting packages such as pastel or other ERP is a MUST;
• Strong communication skills;
• A resident of Lusaka

The role will entail the following duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for receiving payments and handling petty cash;
• Posting receipts in the system;
• Preparing daily sales summary;
• Generating relevant reports for subsequent review and finalization by the Accountant and Finance Manager;
• Maintain records necessary for audit processes;
• Support financial integrity by following internal controls and recommending improvements as appropriate;
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Be a champion for performance in the Finance Team ensuring quality and timeline targets are met.

2. DRIVERS

Experienced drivers with knowledge of mechanics are required and must have the following personal attributes among others, to be considered:

• Must have a Grade 12 certificate;
• Must have at least 7 years driving experience of which at least 5 years must have been driving trucks;
• Honesty and integrity is a must; and
• Verifiable references are essential.

3. AUTO ELECTRICIAN

An experienced truck auto electrician is required with the following attributes among others, to be considered:

• Must have a Grade 12 certificate;
• Must have at least 8  years post qualification experience from reputable organisations;
• Must have attended a recognized trade school and obtained a diploma in auto mechanics and electricals;
• Knowledge of computer based diagnostic tools will be an added advantage; and
• Verifiable references are essential.

4. MECHANICS

An experienced truck mechanic is required with extensive experience and the following attributes at a minimum to be considered:

• Must have a Grade 12 certificate;
• Must have a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience from reputable organisations;
• Must have attended a recognized trade school and obtained a diploma in auto mechanics;
• Knowledge of computer based diagnostic tools will be an added advantage;
