Description
Trident College is located on a 113-hectare nature reserve in Solwezi, Zambia. The school opened its doors to the first pioneering group of pupils and parents in September 2013. In addition to serving the educational needs of the local copper mining community, the College, which is now home to 233 pupils, is rapidly becoming the boarding school of choice in Zambia and a firm option for parents and pupils throughout southern Africa.
Trident College is looking to appoint two suitably qualified and experienced teachers to offer History and Spanish. They will be required to teach to at least IGCSE level, leading to Cambridge International Examinations in November 2019. The ability to teach French would be an added advantage. The duration of the contract is 5 months (February 2019 – June 2019).
Main Purpose of the Job
The appointee will be expected to contribute to all areas of the College as well as to the co-curricular activities. Experience in a boarding environment would be advantageous.
Trident College Solwezi forms part of the Trident Group schools which is made up of two prep schools and the College. Trident Schools are, in turn, operated by Educore Services, a leading provider of independent schooling in Zambia.
Qualifications and other Requirements
The minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree with a Post Graduate Teaching Diploma
