CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
SIMBISA BRANDS ZAMBIA seeks to fill the following positions between now and the first quarter of 2019.
1. Shop Managers
Job Purpose
To plan, organise, direct and control the daily business running of the shop to the satisfaction of the customers and ensuring that sales are maximised, hourly budgets are achieved, brand integrity is maintained, set housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained, and targeted profitability is achieved.
Requirements
- Certificate in Management Science or Hospitality/Food Production (a diploma is an added advantage
- Grade 12 Certificate with 5 O’ level credits including English and Mathematics
- Computer Literate
- At least 2 years work experience in similar role or industry preferred
2. Shift Supervisors
Job Purpose
To manage effectively and efficiently the operational affairs of every shift run ensuring that customers are satisfied profitably.
Requirements
- Certificate in Food Production, Hospitality Management or other culinary arts
- Grade 12 Certificate with 5 O’ level credits including English and Mathematics
- Computer Literate
- At least 1-year work experience in similar role or industry preferred
3. Sales Assistants
Job Purpose
To provide efficient quality service ensuring that orders are speedily taken.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with credits or better in English and Mathematics
- Computer Literate
- Sharp and fast learner
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus
4. Kitchen Porters (Food Production Team Member)
Job Purpose
To produce all the various products at the back and front grill in a consistent standard, manner and quality.
Requirements
- Certificate in Food Production or other culinary arts
- Grade 12 certificate with credits or better in English and Mathematics
5. Store Cleaners
Job Purpose
To provide efficient and effective cleanliness of the food court complex.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with passes in English and Mathematics
- Physically fit
6. Bakers/Confectioners
Job Purpose
To prepare and bake cakes, tarts and confectioneries in a consistent standard, manner and quality.
Requirements
- Certificate in Food Production or other culinary arts
- Track record of proven specialization in confectioneries
- Grade 12 certificate with credits or better in English and Mathematics
