Human Resource Officer at SCAW Limited

SCAW Limited seeks to employ suitably qualified, experienced and result oriented individual to fill up the position of Human Resource Officer.

HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (1)

Reports to: Manager – Corporate Services

Overall job purposes: Provides effective human resource advisory services by promoting good industrial relations, interpret and ensure uniform application of Scaw Limited policies and procedures in order to attain the company business plan.

Duties and Responsibilities;

• Investigates reported disciplinary cases and conduct disciplinary hearings in order to have a disciplined manpower.
• Conducts recruitment as per approved labour request in order to fill in all required positions on the establishment.
• Conducts monthly performance appraisals for employees in order to measure performance of staff members against their key performance areas and indicators.
• Facilitates the payment of terminal benefits for the separated staff.
• Ensures the department complies with SHEQ policies and procedures in order to deliver a quality service
• Assists in reviewing and interpretations of terms and conditions of service in order to enhance adherence to service guidelines.
• Assists in acquisitions of immigration documents for our expatriates in order to comply with the immigration and deportation act of Zambia.
• Attends to employee grievances and timely resolving them in order to have a happier workforce.

Qualifications;

• Grade twelve (12) certificate
• Degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent
• A member of Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management (ZIHRM)
• Minimum of 5 years’ working experience.
• Age between 30 – 50 years old.
