Reports to: Head Electrical & Projects

Job Overview:

To supervise and control all electrical works in the plant in order to ensure effective and efficient repairs, servicing and maintenance of plant equipment to sustain operations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures effective and efficient maintenance of all electrical plant equipment for maximum availability through properly coordinated maintenance program.
• Initiates, develops and recommend medium and long-term spares requirements to facilitate maintenance works.
• Ensures proper maintenance of records for all activities taking place in the repairs and maintenance of all plant machinery so as to maintain a good inventory of maintenance.
• Allocates jobs to artisans, inspects and certify completed tasks.
• Assists in monitoring all electrical projects and execute projects within the approved period.
• To train and develop subordinates for future roles.

Qualifications;

• Full grade twelve (12) certificate
• Diploma in Electrical or its equivalent
• Five 5 years work experience in similar capacity

Skills/Abilities

• Ability to analyze complex electrical problems.
• Ability to work on variable speed drives.
• Troubleshoot and make repairs to production equipment and machinery
• Follow all health & safety regulations related to our operations.
• Good communication skills
