Assistant Accounts Manager at Sandalwood Labour

An opportunity has come available for our client who is a New Player in the FMCG Manufacturing Industry and is looking for a Plant Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to be based in Lusaka.

Title: Assistant Accounts Manager
Department(s): Finance and Accounts
Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer

Duties:

• Management of daily banking and reconciliations.
• Cash flow forecasts, assisting with the preparation of management accounts
• Handling stock taking & spot-check on a monthly,
• Checking payroll input and final reports,
• Ensuring that tax returns & tax planning are done efficiently
• Attend all Zambia Revenue Authority queries
• Manage subordinates and provide direction
• Preparation of budgets & Capex

Requirements

• Full ACCA/CIMA/ZICA
• Associate Membership of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) and paid up to 2019 not negotiable
• 5 years’ managerial experience in a FMCG Industry and able to handle both internal & external auditors
• Ability to work under pressure especially during the audit and work extra hours if required
• Ability to use a computer and good knowledge of SAP accounting package is added advantage
  Good interpersonal skill
