Description
To be responsible for leading and guiding the processed chicken sales team in the Informal Sector. To set sales goals and quotas, build a sales plan, analyse date, assign sales training and sales territories, coach and mentor members of the sales team to achieve their KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs).

Commercial/Business
- Grow and maintain the BOP channel
- Maintaining and Increasing Sales of our company’s products
- Achieving Targets and Goals Set
- Developing cost effective sales strategies
- Setting depots Targets
- Develop and Implement Cost effective Route to Market Strategies for the Informal segment
- Compilation and Analysis of Weekly Sales Reports
- In consultation with accounts department; generate Monthly depot profitability analysis
- Grow number of depots to agreed quarterly and annual numbers
- Market Intelligence-Competitor/Trend/Consumer analysis Reports for Informal segment
People
- Recruit, train and retain sales staff
- Ensure shop controls are implemented and adhered to
- Coach and Motivate sales staff
- Setting goals/Targets for individuals depot country
- Periodical Evaluation of Performance of your team Members
- Ensuring that you and your team perform your duties in a Safe and Responsible manner
Customer
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
- Maintaining well documented Customer Databases
- Servicing the needs of your customers with excellence
- Key Accounts Management
- Conducting Customer/Consumer feedback surveys
- Addressing customer complaints effectively with signed off closure
Brand Objectives
- Brand Marketing
- Identifying Advertising opportunities and executing robust advertising campaigns
- Plan and Execute Product Launches and other Stakeholder Engagements in the BOP
- Standardize Outlets COCO(Company Owned Company Operated), CODO(Company Owned Dealer Operated) and Independent Agents with regard to Branding, ordering, Product Mix/Portfolio
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing or any other related field from a reputable institution
- Member of the Zambia Institute of Sales and Marketing.
Experience
- Minimum three (r) years’ experience at entry managerial level in FMCG sales
- Any experience in Perishable Food Market an added advantage
Skills
- Computer Literate with proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Valid Driver’s License
- Good People Management and Interpersonal skills
- Team Player
- Self-Starter
