Technical Engineer at R A Consulting Services Zambia Ltd

Provide IT support for research projects conducted, including setting up hardware, software and troubleshooting IT related issues. Provide system administration for Windows servers, general networking support, and manage the networked backup systems.Collaborate with headquarters based Information Technology team on projects and issues that involve installation, configuration or troubleshooting of global technology infrastructure in the local Zambia office

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science or related field with 3 or more years of experience in such computer related areas as systems and network support, and file server and networking equipment management. Demonstrated knowledge and ability with Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 server, Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 Server, CISCO Routers and switches Knowledge of MS Active Directory structure, software installations, backup and archive, hardware and software troubleshooting partner and system maintenance MCSE preferred CCNA a plus Willingness and ability to travel required.

Must be able to communicate well in spoken and written English
