4.0 NATURE AND SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES
The Maintenance Co-ordinator will plan, supervise and inspect all the works that are undertaken by the contractors in his/her area.
The incumbent reports directly to the Engineering Manager. He works in close liaison with the all the relevant functions in his portfolio.

4.0 NATURE AND SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES

MAIN DUTIES AND AUTHORITIES
- Champion the use of the Electronic Computer Maintenance Management System (E-CMMS) to manage technical data and integrity of equipment.
- Manage the call centre by; capturing all calls; logs them in; determine the nature of the problem and response time required; issue reference number to customer; assign call to contractor; issue Job Card; issue resources and facilitate fixing; follow up closure and ensure all support calls and relevant diagnostics are captured in E-CMMS. Additionally, he will apply diagnostic skills to resolve technical support calls telephonically.
- Champion EHS as a personal value and ensure good EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) culture is exhibited and practised in the maintenance of Retail, B2B & Mine sites and in accordance with Puma Safety and Operating Standards.
- To supervise contractors and ensure they effectively perform their duties within the engineering standards and service level agreements signed with the business function.
- Management of all Asset processes and updating the asset register.
- To carry out other administrative works such as processing payment documentation for contractors and suppliers as per service level agreement with the business.
- Ensuring all Assets Planned Maintenance schedules are adhered to and ensure that Service Level Agreements with the business are complied with.
- Produce Quality maintenance reports based on agreed KPI.
- Develops and improves capability to deliver more effective and efficient maintenance for the business operations.
- Manages equipment storage, surplus equipment storage and disposal.
