PATH is currently recruiting for a temporary TB Research Coordinator to lead efforts in identifying new and easy-to-use diagnostic and treatment tools allowing for faster diagnostic services and point-of-care sites and easier treatment adherence for patients under the FindTM TB: Rapid Test for Tuberculosis (UNIMA) study. The findings of this study is a unique opportunity to be on the cutting edge of changes for testing and treatment for people living with TB.

The following are the responsibilities and required skills and experience for the preferred candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Support data collection and management processes for each project
- Support quality assurance of research data
- Participate in International Review Board application development and reviews
- Coordinate data collection and analysis activities with the Principle Investigator to support the development of the final reports and publications
- Oversee and assign day to day tasks to data collectors and technicians conducting rapid TB tests
Required Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in biomedical research.
- MPH or equivalent in experience
- Must be conversant with infection control practices in health facilities in Zambia
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written in English, ability to communicate in Bemba is an added advantage
- Self-starter able to work independently
- Expert competence with statistical analysis packages such as Stata
- Excellent workshop and training skills
- Published in peer reviewed journals
- Must have legal authorization to work in Zambia
