EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) has the following vacant positions it wishes to fill:
INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER (Salary Grade: P2)
JOB PURPOSE: To effectively manage the development, installation and maintenance
of Information Management Systems in order to facilitate the provision of accurate
information.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Registrar & Chief Executive Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS
(a) Full grade 12 certificate
(b) Degree in Computer Sciences/Information Management System or its equivalent
(c) Five (5) years relevant experience at Senior level
(d) Not less than 35 years of age
(e) A post graduate qualification will be an added advantage
MAIN DUTIES
a) Manage effectively the development and installation of the Information Management
Systems;
b) Manage effectively an up to date database;
c) Ensures effectively compliance with disaster recovery procedure;
d) Undertakes effectively staff training in the use of information technology tools;
e) Manages effectively the development and maintenance of the website;
f) Supervises effectively the management of the Local Area Network;
g) Ensures effectively the preparation of reports and documents;
h) Manages effectively Human, Financial and other resources.
