Program Manager- Humanitarian at Oxfam

To provide leadership to the humanitarian program.

What we are looking for someone with the following:

• +5 years’ experience of humanitarian programme operations, especially public health and livelihoods, built on mature understanding of relevant issues derived from field experience.


• Proven senior management experience with evidence of effective decision making, managing multi-functional work teams and a critical focus on the delivery of agreed results within time and budget constraints and to expected standards.


• Experience of rapid onset emergency programme start- ups.


• Proven experience as a team worker and demonstrably cooperative with members of other teams.


• Experience of promoting gender equity and diversity and the interests of marginalized people in all aspects of Oxfam’s work.


• Proven experience of linking HIV, AIDS and gender into programme design delivery and implementation to achieve greater impact and meet Oxfam goal of putting women at the centre of our work.


• Strong advocacy experience and ability to develop organisational networks and associations
