OTK MANUFACTURING AND TRADING LIMITED is a private owned company operating in a construction industry in Lusaka.The company is looking for the under listed positions.

X3 SALES EXECUTIVE JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB PURPOSE:

The job of a Sales Executive is to be flexible and versatile and responsible for the growth of inbound sales channels.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Holder of a Certificate, Diploma in Marketing or Both from a reputable institution locally or abroad
  • Any other qualification will be added advantage
  • Experience of working in construction industry will be key for a possible selection
  • Must be 23 to 35 years of age

Responsibilities:

  • Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Work closely with sales manager to set up and Prepare and conduct presentations either at OTK premises, client premises or at client events.
  • Organizing client events and setting up meeting with industry key stakeholders with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure that at least 60% of quotations issued to Contractors and Hardware owners are converted to actual sales.
  • Ensure to honor scheduled visits to Key Account Clients and also establish new prospect list weekly.
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Prepare daily call & sales report for all clients visited and appointments set up.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench-marking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Ensure quotations are prepared and given to clients every day.
