Senior Consultant, Research at National Institute of Public Administration

Job Purpose

Initiates, co-ordinates and carries out research, consultancy and development activities on behalf of clients to enhance the Institute’s performance and delivery of services. Role holder manages, analyzes and delivers data for research purposes, and develops new models and processes in pursuance of Institute goals.

Reports to: Principal Consultant, Research

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• 5 ‘0’ Levels or higher acceptable at a University awarding a BA/BSc Degree qualification or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, Statistics, Operations Management, Mathematics or Sciences with merit preferred
• Masters’ Degree in a related field is a must
• Minimum five (5) years postgraduate relevant experience in a similar role
• Evidence of publications in area of specialization
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
• Numerical/Computation Skills
• Negotiation Skills
• Computer literacy
• Team player
• Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills
• Member of a relevant professional body
