SALES REPRESENTATIVE – NORTH X 2
CONTRACT: PERMANENT
Reporting to the Sales and Distribution Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
- Market opportunity assessment
- Market potential study collated and analysed by sales area
- Generate insights from analysis
- Sales planning
- Market potential opportunities planned and prioritized
- Volume / Market Share / In-trade execution gaps identified and prioritized
- Monitor Sales and route performance
- Sales execution
- Ensure sales call are carried out as per calling schedule
- Order generation
- Monitor competitor activities.
- Provides input into promotions planning on the basis of sales data.
- Routes are adequately serviced and adhered to
- Sales teams presentable at all times and action being taken against non-compliers
- After sales service delivered
- Communication channels in place to establish good relations with customers
- Timeous feedback to customers and management on matters of concern
- Prompt response to customer queries
- Vehicles equipped with appropriate equipment
- Appropriate safe usage of company vehicle as per policy
- Clean and presentable vehicle at all times
The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes.
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma in Marketing, Sales Management or its equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as excel, word and power point.
- At least 3 years’ experience in sales
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to work under pressure
- At least two years working experience in an FMCG
