MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER – BREWING AND UTILITIES

CONTRACT: PERMANENT

Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

• Maintaining safe, healthy and risk-free working environment
• Managing and developing team
• Optimising team processes
• Optimising plant and equipment availability and reliability
• Optimising process performance
• Managing planned maintenance system integrity and optimal usage
• Facilitating team problem solving and decision making
• Operating utilities plant and equipment
• Optimising Maintenance reliability, availability and cost

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Mechanical or Electrical technician
• 5 years’ experience as mechanical or electrical artisan in brewing or similar industry
• Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Motivated and results oriented
• Influencing ability with regards to sound maintenance practices
• Good understanding of Brewing and Utilities operational processes and technologies
