Mukuni is looking for a full stack developer to work alongside internal senior developers and an external developer team in India. The role is full time and will involve working with a multitude of technologies. Both mobile and web applications are in their early-middle stages of development which will allow the candidate to play an important part in developing and launching the product/ platform from the beginning.

The candidate will report to the Founder. More information on the role, company and remuneration to be provided after first round of interviews. Responsibilities / Job Description

• Implement (add, modify, update features) the backend of the web platform using Django (Python) framework. The client will work with the other senior developers on this
• Coordinate with the external team of developers in India to develop / monitor development of the mobile app being created using Native Android.
• Test and refactor features
• Use Bitbucket for version control
• Create and review pull requests
• Use Azure to deploy and manage the web platform (server management)

The ideal candidate would demonstrate a working knowledge of (skills):

• React framework for front end development
• Django for backend end development
• Docker
• Azure for server deployment and maintenance
• HTML + CSS
• Adobe XD for designing
• Bitbucket for version control
• Native Android for mobile app development

The ideal candidate should have and be able to demonstrate the following qualities:

• Follow agile development methodologies
• Understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
• Appreciation for clean and well documented code
• Familiarity with task/project management systems such as Slack and Trello
• Ability to learn new technologies and incorporate them quickly to solve problems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Collaborate effectively with remote teams and/or developers
• Track and report project progress on a bi weekly basis
• Dedicated and driven on continuous self-improvement
• A dreamer
