Description
The Madison Health & Risk Management Limited invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill in the position of Business Development Executive – Health Insurance (2 Positions) to be based in Lusaka.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS, QUALITIES & ATTRIBUTES
- Full grade twelve certificate with at least a merit in Mathematics & English;
- Previous insurance experience preferred
- Diploma in marketing will be an added advantage;
- Function independently and responsibly with minimal need for supervision
- Effective verbal & written communication
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Well organized with excellent Computer skills;
- Should be able to meet deadlines, be flexible and use initiative;
- Should have good report writing skills
- Should have valid driving license
- Ability to multi task and handle frequent interruptions
- Outstanding technical skills including Ms Office applications
- Strong people skills and must be a team player
RESPONSIBILITIES
The job holder will be reporting to the Head- Business Development. The role will include but not limited to;
- Marketing Health Insurance products, Should have a proven ability to generate leads & convert these into business opportunities.
- Should have proven relationship building, selling and conversion skills with excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Establish Contacts with key persons at various corporates & brokers and understand the current levels of Health Insurance services and needs
- Handling Brokers relationship/ business: provide quotations for Insurance business; process new business; obtain sales leads; conduct product sensitizations.
- Market, quote, sell and solicit sales for both local and International Health Insurance products including Medical Fund management schemes.
- Prepare and maintain all Health Insurance reports, records and file
- Maintain Health Insurance financial account system. Record all premium transaction maintain clients statements.
- Maintain accurate Insurance membership information by administering the membership renewal process, assigning new membership numbers, maintaining a paid listing of members as required in the Agreement with clients, conducting the annual membership service check.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers including MIS & Internal reports to the management
- Have the ability to work independently, achieve targets and be result oriented
- Networking, communication, negotiation and relationship management.
- Maintain good communication with the Internal & Eternal clients & Insurance brokers
- Be familiar with Life & Health Insurance products and policies
- Attend required training sessions and complete in office training as instructed.
- Perform any other duties as requested by the Head- Business Development
