Description
The Lusaka South Multifacility Economic Zone (LMF EZ) seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and energetic individual to fill the position following positions to be based in Lusaka.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
You will be required to:
- Ensure that Payroll transactions pertaining to employee compensation for the period are verified and reconciled
- Ensure that statements of bank transactions of the company accounts for the period are verified, reconciled and reported
- Prepare cash flow statements and expenditure accounts
- Monitors cash flow and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to manage shortfalls/surpluses
- Works closely with the Chief Executive Officer to prepare Company, annual and multi-year budgets
- Analyses variances and explores potential problems with Company budget in order to forecast address any variances.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for internal and external use.
- Prepare periodic budgetary control statements in order to determine
- Company financial performance and suggest corrective action, if required.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing auditors with accounting documents as requested and provides explanations for audit queries.
- Manage compliance with Zambian tax laws
- Develop and Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance
Required Skills & Qualification
- Minimum Grade 12 with 5 ‘O levels with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Full Professional Accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years experience with at least 5 years in a senior position.
- Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in financial management.
- Must Possess strong Financial management and financial reporting skills.
- Must Possess Excellent analytical and management skills
