Lusaka Provincial Health Office (LPHO) with Support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the under listed position:

Job Title: Executive Officer (1)

Location: Lusaka Provincial Health Office

Job Purpose: To undertake the provision of administrative support services in order to facilitate efficient and effective operations of project activities

Reports to: Administrative Officer

Principal Accountabilities;

  • Undertakes effectively the provision and maintenance of transport system in order to enhance mobility of officers, equipment and other supplies.

  • Inspects accurately and timely, goods, services and works procured in order to establish client specification.

  • Timely and accurately receipts of procured goods and services in order to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of information.

  • Carries out timely, storage and retrieval of goods in order to safe guard goods and make them available to end Users.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of assets and sundries in order to facilitate decision making.

  • Undertakes regularly, identification of obsolete, redundant, scrap and surplus goods in order to facilitate disposal.

  • Provides secretarial services in order to enhance operations of the project.

  • Undertakes effective maintenance of motorized transport.

  • Provision of office space to officers in order to provide a conducive working environment; and

  • Provision and maintenance of office equipment in order to enhance service delivery.
  • Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • Grade Twelve (12) School certificate;
    • Diploma in Public Administration / Management Studies
    • At least two (2) years relevant work experience
    • Computer literate, with competency in Microsoft office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
    • Good proficiency in oral and written English as well interpersonal skills; and
    • Ability to work independently
