IT Technician at Lancet Laboratories Zambia

Lancet Laboratories Zambia is looking to employ an IT Technician on a 1yr Fixed Term Contract (Renewable based on Performance Management for Permanent). This position will be based at the Lancet Lusaka Laboratory

IT TECHNICIAN LEVEL 1

Job Summary: Provide desktop support for the Practice ensure all system users equipment is functional as per department and organizational requirements.

Key Competency Requirements

• Grade 12
• Relevant Certificate/Diploma and Degree
• 2 – 3yrs Relevant Working Experience
• Meditech knowledge would advantageous
• Must be computer literate at advanced level

Key Job Responsibilities

• Check all allocated tasks to determine workflow for the day
• Execute tasks/queries in order of importance as indicated by Supervisor/Manager
• Captures progress and completion report so and update status to Management
• Continuously checks for new tasks on Meditech and assess level of attention required for attending to new tasks/queries
• The job incumbent will be expected to oversee any Maintenance related work/queries
• Maintain Confidentiality
• Ability to maintain good working relationship with internal and external clients
• Must be willing to travel outside Zambia and have a valid driver’s License
