Intrepid Research and Media conducts Market and Social research assignments for various clients in Africa. We are seeking Social Science and Market Research candidates for short-term multi sectorial technical assignments to provide analytic services for various clients from time to time.

Technical / sectorial experience sought in:

• Land Tenure
• Natural Resource Management
• Climate Change
• International Business, Micro-enterprise, or Private Sector Development
• Public Administration
• Economics or Finance
• Value chain analysis
• Forestry
• Biodiversity
• Water/WASH
• Education
• Energy
• Infrastructure
• Nutrition, Food Security, or Agriculture
• Monitoring and Evaluation

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and conduct social science research related to international development projects
• Evaluate Donor Funded and Social Intervention projects using select criteria
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data
• Write reports with findings, conclusions, recommendations
• Prepare client presentations

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in the social sciences or related fields
• One or more years of international development experience, preferably in a developing country setting
• Demonstrated experience in social science or other appropriate research and analysis
• Experience using experimental and quasi-experimental research designs
• USAID or other international donor organization experience a plus
