International SOS periodically has positions for Clinic/Occupational Health Doctors who would be interested in providing a joint service to its clients, working on a rotational basis, on sites that can be situated anywhere in the world!
Rotations do vary, however, a standard rotation can be anything from 4-6 weeks on duty followed by 4-6 weeks back at home. Payment is in US Dollars based on ON DUTY days only, with flights, accommodation, meals coupled with all the necessary remote site insurances being provided.
International SOS’ Occupational Health doctors are responsible for the delivery, quality and efficiency of all occupational health services, delivered by International SOS Medical staff within their own Clinics as well as Clinic settings.
As the clinic doctor, there is a responsibility to support other doctors in delivering emergency and general practice care.
Criteria to be considered for such a position follows:
Qualifications
- Diploma in Medicine
- Post graduate qualifications in OH – from an academic medical institution or medical specialist college.
Required Languages
- English: fluent
- Portuguese or French will be an advantage
Required Work Experience/Knowledge
- Medical Doctor with 3 years plus post-graduation experience
- Varied international medical and/or health care system experience
- Preferably additional experience of working in the energy, mining and infrastructure segment.
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS or similar training will be a requirement
