Innovate Life Assurance, a subsidiary of Innovate Holdings invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following positions:-
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Control of all financial matters and ensuring accurate reporting that comply with regulatory requirements and International Financial Reporting Standards.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of required Business performance reports including; revenue, cash flow, variance, underwriting accounts reports
- Preparation of Monthly forecast of projected revenues, cash flows, expenditure and Claims
- Preparation of Monthly/periodic flash reports on actual revenues, cash flows, Expenditure and claims
- Preparation of the Balance Sheet
- Preparation of TB Report
- Ensuring that all reporting and accounting adheres to regulatory requirements and IFRS and other required standards
- Maintaining accounting systems and controls to ensure the efficiency and integrity of financial reports produced there from
- Preparation of budgets and other strategic documents
- Providing financial guidance to other departments to ensure that business performance and cost control targets are achieved
- To agree targets with team members, monitor performance and performance reviews for team members as per stipulated guidelines
- To share knowledge and experience and best practice with team members in order to ensure that team performance complies with set standards

Qualifications
- University Degree in Accounting and Finance /ACCA/CIMA
- MBA would be an added advantage
- Professional: ACCA /CIMA/ZICA affiliation
- Minimum Experience: 3 – 5 years’ related work experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
