Innovate Capital Solutions seeks to recruit qualified and experienced professionals in the following vacancy:
Relationship Manager
To create, implement, drive and monitor the ICS business strategy focused on client growth, asset growth, effective relationship management and product development and customer service for the various Client segments in order to achieve desired returns on capital and growth targets
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall responsibility for the credit management function and oversee the underwriting / credit control of all loan files.
- Assist in the development of a new lending platform and assist in the establishing and updating all lending policies & guidelines.
- Responsible for the administration and direction of the credit department.
- Responsible for preparing and submitting all files to the Management Credit Committee.
- Monitor performance of the loan portfolio and report to the Executive Management Team on a periodic basis.
- Member of the Management Credit Committee contributing to the day to day running /strategy of the company.
- Attend Investor roadshows if required in conjunction with the Head of Business/Treasury.
- Member of the Asset and Liability Committee
- Assist in the recruitment of other staff members to the team and to the overall development of the Credit department in line with business needs.
- Act as strong ambassador for the Company and assist in the development and promotion of the ICS brand
Education and Experience
- Ideally minimum of University primary degree with a suitable postgraduate qualification.
- Minimum of 5-10 years within a credit / lending background preferably working for a large banking institution
- Strong knowledge of residential mortgage lending practices with a good understanding of credit risk and ideally been exposed to restructurings / work outs.
- Proficient in the suite of Microsoft Office products and credit risk tools
