Depot Sales Manager

FVG Kabwe Milling is an equal employment opportunity employer. We are a food processing company in the industrial area of Kabwe, Central Province. We are looking for someone with a passion for quality and attention to detail to join our Sales & Marketing team as Depot Sales Manager to be based in Kabwe.

Job Summary

The Depot Sales Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Implement the sales strategy and business plan for depot
• Map your market out and target new business to then grow and succeed targets
• Achieve and exceed sales targets
• Work with the Country Management Team, to deliver effective tender responses
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the business and how we can tailor our ranges to clients’ needs
• Track performance of new accounts and promote additional spend

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services, including marketing strategies and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and difficult people both in person and via the telephone while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.
• Shall be able to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with customers and the general public.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Sales and Marketing Degree or Equivalent
• Aged between 30 – 40 years
• Minimum of 3-5 years Sales and Marketing experience.
• Must be computer literate
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years.
• Must be based in Kabwe

Remuneration Package

Will include base salary plus sales commission!!!
