Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct all Compliance Safety Training.
- Facilitate off the job classroom Power Point presentations.
- Conduct theory and practical assessment in accordance with the assessment principles and in accordance with FQML assessment guidelines
- Implement Daily/weekly Training assignment schedule.
- Able to fill in all paper work in a correct way and within the required timeframe and also hand them over to the administrator for filling.
- Assists with development of Training Need Analysis (TNA) and training audits as directed by the Section Supervisor or Superintendent.
- Assists with development of learning materials and documentation (Manuals, PowerPoint and assessment tools) as directed by the Section Supervisor or Superintendent.
- Report on daily training activities through the Section Supervisor
- Any other duties as directed by the Supervisor / Compliance Safety Superintendent.
Qualifications:
- Qualification in Occupational Safety and Health
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessing /Teaching Methodology / Trainer of Trainer Certificate will be an added advantage
- Certificate in Computer skills (Word, Excel PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Full Grade twelve certificate.
Experience:
- 3 years’ work experience as working in a safety or related training capacity.
Job Knowledge:
- General Management procedure (GMP).
- Scheduling systems using Training calendar.
Job Skills:
- Facilitation, Presentation and coaching skills.
- Training and Assessments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to speak, read and write in English

- Highly self-directed and self-motivated and can learn quickly.
