Role Summary
We are a financial media company that produces investment information and events focused on emerging markets.
Based in the UK, we are looking for several sales executives to be based in our Zambia office.
The role of a sales executive is to ensure that the projects assigned are successful by meeting and exceeding targets.
The Role
- Contact C-level executives to present our product and service offering
- Make outbound calls and follow-up on email campaigns
- Communicate with customers to understand their requirements
- Offer solutions based on clients’ needs and capabilities
- Keep an updated customer database
- Track and document calls and sales
- Meet and exceed sales revenue targets including daily KPIs
- Prepare and present achievements and KPIs
- Take ownership of the sales process, including building and managing pipelines.
- Prepare proposals and presentations
Required Skills
- A finance or business-related academic degree
- At least one year working in a corporate environment
- Experience dealing with clients over the phone is required
- Previous sales experience is desired, but not required
- Highly motivated & enthusiastic
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- A good team member but must be able to work on own initiative
- Use of IT packages including, Microsoft Office, E-mail, Word, Excel
- Good use of the English Language
- Drive determination and a passion for sales
