A reputable bank seeks to recruit a Facilities Manager who will be Responsible for the control and management of assets and stock levels as well as the accounting processes and records within the bank.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage and control the enterprise inventory requirements by tracking and monitoring materials movements, implementing controls, providing replenishment indicators and processes, reconciling and reporting on inventory balances
Update, review and maintenance of the inventory master records
Management and control of the banks current, fixed and intangible assets including inventories, buildings, equipment and goodwill
Assist with the Updating of replacement criteria in terms of which assets will be replaced
Responsible for administration of the banks pool and company vehicles .this include updating and monitoring the vehicle registration register and documentations as well as the motor vehicle license renewal process and documentation. It also includes ad-hoc review of the vehicle logs for proper usage of vehicles
Management and maintenance of the appropriate insurance cover of all assets throughout the asset life cycle .this include assistance with the annual review of insurance policies, as well as assisting with the regular updating of insurance values for all assets
Monitoring of the asset maintenance cost
Ensure that formal and on- the- job training is effectively planned and conducted to ensure that sufficient expertise is available to deal with the work
Ensure that the mentorship in the department is effective to enable all personnel to develop to their full potential
Ensure that evaluations are done on a regular basis according to the guidelines of the systems
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Experience: 3 years
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: Degree in Finance, Procurement, Business Administration or related field
Software: Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
Equipment: Job related
Knowledge Of: Knowledge of the accounting systems and processing activities
Skills To: Ensure that personnel are judiciously applied in appropriate posts and that the workload is cleared with the minimum mistakes and overtime
Ability To: Work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
