Quantity Surveyor at Construction Company

Job Responsibilities:

• Estimating and costing of BOQs for upcoming projects
• Preparation and submission of Bills of Quantities and other related documentation
• Review drawings with Project Management team and highlight areas of concern
• Attending site visits as when required
• Working in close coordination with other personnel
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil engineering, Quantity Survey or equivalent
• Grade 12 certificate
• Should have more than 4 years previous experience in the same role
• Proficient with using the computers
• Experience working in construction industry
• Should have a creative and innovative approach to problem solving
• Strong numeracy and financial management skills
• The ability to write clear and precise reports and to relate complex information in a simple way to supervisor
• Creative, excellent team spirit, good communication and negotiation skills, work coordination, management skills
• A registered member of the Surveyors Institute of Zambia
