Our Zambia operation currently has the vacancy of Engineering Manager for dynamic individuals with energy and initiative, keen to impact from the outset. This position reports into the Manufacturing Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment. Facilitate early equipment management processes by supplying system required data. Implementing FI pillar initiatives and optimizing maintenance spends through correct procurement leverage. He/she will take overall responsibility for the technical readiness and availability of all plant equipment and machinery and its maintenance as per the OEM requirements. The incumbent will also be responsible for the entire ONE CCBZ organization i.e. CSD, Aquasavana and Maheu operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Implementation and execution of maintenance systems
• Provide support for Kaizans (modifications/mini projects)
• Ensure adherence to health and safety legal requirements.
• Ensure quality systems requirements are met for asset care
• Arrange and chair weekly planning meetings and review engineering KPI’s
• Provide maintenance development guidelines, develop and implement maintenance improvement plan
• Manage Plant & Equipment Capital Investment Plan and Provide support for autonomous maintenance process
• Ensure stock levels support maintenance strategy and Optimize maintenance spend through correct procurement leverage
• Facilitate early equipment management process by supplying system required data and implement FI pillar initiatives

Skills, Experience & Education

• Bachelor degree in Engineering.
• 3 years’ experience in FMCG,
• Certified professional engineer.
