An international NGO active in humanitarian aid and development cooperation will be implementing  a project though Traditional Leadership (FIT)  under FSD Zambia which aims to improve financial inclusion in Luapula Province is looking for a

Financial Inclusion Officer

Responsibilities:

• Increase beneficiary’s financial capability through education, awareness and motivation.
• Supervise and support saving group activities including financial literacy
• Identify potential business opportunities, market and financial linkages and actively participate on establishment, facilitation and development of linkages of project beneficiaries to such institutions and programs
• Cooperate with Project Coordinator on activity planning and implementation of activities
• Support administration and logistics of the project office

Requirements:

• Tertiary education (university/college degree in Marketing, Banking & Finance  or any related subject
• Experience with financial inclusion, saving groups, market system approach and small business development
• Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is an advantage
• Fluent in English – written and spoken
• Excellent computer skills – MS office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet
• Diligent, accurate, attentive to detail and organized
• Integrity and willingness to work and produce results in a dynamic environment
• Excellent time management, commitment, team worker, reliable and hardworking, able to work under pressure
