Site Operations Manager at Bulk Mining Explosives

BME Zambia Ltd is looking for a competent, passionate and results-driven professional to fulfill the following role:

Site Operations Manager – Kansanshi

Key Performance Areas

• Manage the operational service delivery value chain
• Inventory/Stock Control
• Technical Management
• SHEQ Management
• People Management

Requirements:

• Grade 12 full certificate or Matric
• Blasting certificate all mining operations
• A degree in Engineering (preferably in Mining or Explosives Engineering) or a related field of study.
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
• Supervisory experience
• Minimum 5 years Site Manager International Operational experience of which at least three years must be drill and blast related, supplemented by least 2 years’ experience in a managerial role.
• Valid SADC Driver’s license
• Computer literacy (Office suite).
• Strong customer and results orientation focus.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Proven leadership ability.
