Merchandise Controller at Builders Warehouse

Builders warehouse is looking for a merchandise controller to join the replenishment department.

Functions / responsibilities:

• Create & process replenishment orders
• Monitor auto replenishment orders
• Follow up on outstanding orders, placing promotional orders and arranging deliveries.
• Ensure DISPO integrity
• Monitor the movement of products
• Follow up on new lines and discontinued stock
• Liaise with suppliers
• Handle queries
• Manage aged stock process
• Ensure security of confidential information

Requirements:

• 2-3 years relevant experience in a retail environment
• Product and market knowledge
• Network and relationship building
• Communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills( especially Excel)
• Analysis of report and data
• Ability to seek opportunities by thinking outside the box
• International trends
• Need to understand importance of price model.
• Business acumen.
