Description
The Business Transformation Officer takes lead responsibility in establishing business requirements for the continued enhancement of SmartCare. The role works with the Business Transformation Lead to effectively and efficiently engage relevant stakeholders throughout the Business Analysis process from facility (field) visits, user design meetings and iterative user engagement to support software development. The Business Transformation Officer (BTO) will also support the provision of content for training materials based on workflows and business needs. In addition to this, the BTO will also interface with the development team in the agile development processes.
Key Accountabilities
In your role as Business Analyst you will:
- Support the process of user requirements gathering, documentation, review, and validation with relevant stakeholder through
- Key informant interviews based on business needs
- User design group meetings held as per project needs
- Iterative user engagement processes
- Field visits according to business needs
- Support the in the documentation of user and technical specification documentation based on the project needs to support onward development
- Work with the Software development team to support documentation of system design including system architecture, data models, application framework, component diagrams, sequence diagrams and integration specifications.
- Support the identification of options for potential solutions and assessing them for
Technical suitability - Business suitability
- Project feasibility in terms of implementation with cost implications
- Support ongoing software development through agile processes by
developing technical stories for handover to the development team through grooming sessions supporting the Software Development Quality Assurance (QA) team with test cases and testing - Support training teams in the formulation of training objectives and training materials that are responsive to

Qualifications
Essential qualifications
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Diploma in Nursing services
Desirable qualifications
- Degree in a health-related field like Public Health, Nursing, Medical Licentiate is an added advantage
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of experience working in a health facility or setting.
- Experience working with technology in the health setting, SmartCare preferable.
- Experience in client engagement and stakeholder relationship management
- Ability to work across both technical and business analyst portfolios
- Ability to perform root cause analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyses, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong presentation skills,
