Outreach and Research Officer

BBC Media Action is the international development charity of the BBC.  We are currently looking to recruit for multiple positions for two projects. Please note that all positions will involve extensive travel within Zambia.

Subject to confirmation of funding. Under the British Council funded Zambia Accountability Project, we are looking to recruit the following positions based in Lusaka:

OUTREACH AND RESEARCH OFFICER: A minimum of 3 years work experience of conducting qualitative and quantitative research, preferably in either the social sector, media sector or NGO sector. Proven track record of designing research tools and questionnaires, managing focus group discussions and in-depth interviews essential.  Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Social Science or related field. Good analytical skills and report writing experience are essential requirements. Candidates must be able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.  A valid driving license strongly preferred.
