JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head Human Resources will be responsible for coordinating all the Human Resource management activities for the company

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

The job holder will be responsible for all the human resource activities including but not limited to the following:

• Provide direction and advice to staff, line managers and Executive
• Management on human resource and work related issues.
• Monitor staff attendance, performance and improvement systems.
• Ensure compliance with employment regulatory requirements’
• Administration of disciplinary proceedi ngs
• Coordinate learning and development programs
• Periodic review of human resource policies
• Manage employee health and safety
• Employee counselling
• Coordinate staff recruitment

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
• At least 5 years managing a sizable Human Resources Department.

OTHER SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Paid up member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management (ZIHRM)
• Strong leadership and development attributes
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Must possess sound knowledge of Zambian Labour Laws
