ATM Operations Manager

Reporting to: Central Processing

Business Unit: Corporate Investment Banking

Location: Lusaka (1 positions)

Job Purpose:

Responsible for activities of the ATM operations and employees including oversight over outsourced service, internal and external controls, administration and equipment to ensure cash operations are managed in the most cost effective and secure way.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control the work and resources of the ATM operations as well as control and maintain ATM equipment to ensure compliance with regulations
• Ensure maintenance of high level of security, control and performance standards adhering to Stand Operating Procedures, policies and guidelines prescribed by the Bank.
• Carry out spot checks and inspections to ensure controls are in place
• Assure effective customer service and relations through timely delivery of high quality services.
• Ensure outsourced services are compliant with SLA’s and maintain maximum ATM up time.
• Oversee passing of adjustment entries on a continuous basis.

Candidate & Technical Requirements

• Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 credits including English and Mathematics
• Relevant degree in any Business related course and an MBA or an educational qualification in ATM engineering
• such as NCR and Diebold will also be an added advantage
• 6+ years’ experience in Banking and good knowledge of operational issues
• Must have sound knowledge of ATM replenishment, ATM hardware including investigation of cash discrepancies
• Setting key performance measures for the team for monitoring the performance of ATM operations
• Autonomous and results orientated, with a clear determination to succeed.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and negotiation skills
