Arkay Plastics Zambia Ltd – a leading manufacturing company of plastic products in Zambia invites applicants to urgently fill up the position of Dispatch/ logistics Officer

Job Profile:

• To supervise and monitor the loading of goods into delivery vehicles
• To confirm with Stores Department that the correct quantity and packaging is provided for delivery
• To prepare Delivery Notes using Tally ERP.
• To ensure Delivery Note tallies with Sales Order.
• To receive returned goods from customers, inspecting them physically before they are taken to Production Department for recycling.
• To hire delivery vehicles for corporate product deliveries when need arises.
• To follow up with customers for goods delivery in hired vehicles.
• To prepare weekly Dispatch and Logistics report.
• To prepare monthly Dispatch/Logistics report and sending it to the Operations manager.
• To attend weekly Operations Review Meeting

Desired Skills:

• Good IT and Communication Skills in English.
• Excellent Accounting Knowledge.
• Good Arithmetic Abilities
•  Must be able to multitask and be able to make quick decisions.
•  Must have ability to supervise general workers
• Result oriented and hard working with ability to work calmly under pressure.

Work Experience:

• 2-3 years in a FMCG industry.
• Experience in Plastic Manufacturing Industry is an advantage

Education:

• Diploma in a relevant field
