Allterrain Services (ATS)- Tsebo Zambia Ltd, Africa’s leading catering and facilities management service provider, is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Zambian with proven performance to fill the vacant position below:

HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER – LUSAKA X 01

The Human Resource Officer’s primary responsibility will be to support the Human Resource Manager in the delivery of services to functional departments. Provide day-to-day administrative support for the Industrial /Employee Relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will be responsible and accountable but not limited to the below;

  • Recruit and complete onboarding induction for new members.
  • Ensure that company polices are explained to all employees.
  • Capture employees’ personal information accurately and maintain an updated record securely.
  • Administer employee incentive programs.
  • Schedule all employee disciplinary meetings, and other meetings as assigned.
  • Participate in disciplinary committee meetings and complete detailed and accurate notes of all proceedings.
  • Prepare all documentation related to employee terminations and resignations, disciplinary actions, etc.
  • Facilitate payroll and terminal payments.
  • Manage staff performance
  • Prepare reports as assigned
  • Conduct exit interviews, identify any negative trends and determine if corrective action may retain valued staff and make recommendations to supervisor as maybe appropriate.
  • Draft responses to industrial relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment, allegations, and/or other actions as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate must have;

  • A diploma in human resource management or business administration.
  • 3 -5 years’ relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success in a multicultural environment/hospitality sector is added advantage.
  • Good understanding of employment law.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft office packages.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize own work.
  • Creative, self-motivated, proactive and confident.
  • Experience managing a diverse team and strong willingness to build capacity of local staff.
  • Trustworthy and ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.
